New Species of Hoya flowers are discovered on a regular basis. However they are not recognized as a new species until they have a valid name and description. Many of our members including Dale Kloppenburg take the time to document and publish these new species in their correct Latin descriptions so that the many herbariums and botanical gardens can add them to their documented species list.
Until these new species are published in a forum that the above mentioned institutions can glean the the "New Species" information from, there is no chance that these new species will be added to the "Established Species" list. Our Association provides this page of our web site for "New Species Publication" to our members for a fraction of the cost of print medium publication.
